Body Technician

Description

As a Body technician you will be responsible for repairing all vehicles to manufacturer, industry and Company standards. You will thoroughly tear down vehicles for estimates. Cap open lines on vehicle after tear down. You will measure vehicles and provide frame damage analysis, notify production department as soon as tear down is complete. You will be responsible for reviewing estimates with estimator while vehicle is still in the stall, read work order, read and follow all repair procedure information provided. Check parts received when delivered by parts dept., communicate to parts dept. on any missing parts that are on order, fill out supplement request form for estimator when needed and give supplement request forms to production. Once body work is complete you will check vehicle parts order before sending the car to paint and then take all necessary parts to the paint shop with the vehicle for painting. Check and recheck all systems before and after repairs (windows, lamps, locks, latches, mirrors, radios, etc.), Check panels for proper fit and gaps. Any additional duties as may be assigned.

Body Technician Helper

Description

Assist Technician examining body damage on customer vehicles and identifying necessary body repair work. You will also assist with requesting necessary parts for repair. Assist Technician in performing body repairs including removing damaged body parts and replacing with fixed or new parts. Assist with documenting repairs performed and with performing body repairs efficiently and according to Pacific Elite Collision Centers and insurance company guidelines. You will be responsible for maintaining an organized, clean and safe work area. Comply with Company policies and procedures, observe all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.

Collision Advisor

Description

As a collision advisor you will greet and assist guest and be responsible for checking in vehicles and writing accurate repair plans to vehicle manufacture and DRP standards. You will be responsible for all aspects of the repair order, print and maintain production schedule report on daily basis, maintaining accurate schedule in CCC One and be responsible for customer and insurance communications with shop. As advisor you are responsible for repair order documentation. You will also assist fellow estimators as needed. As advisor you are responsible for final vehicle check and delivery to client, once completed you will close repair orders.

Customer Service Representative

Description

The Customer Service Representative position consists of interfacing with customers to provide information regarding the claims process. As a customer service rep you must be able to build relationships with customers, insurance representatives and co-workers. You will be responsible for making appointments for estimates and repairs and follow-up based on information from Insurance Partners. As a customer service rep you will stay at front desk at all times, greet and assist guest, answer phones, assist caller to the best of your ability and assist estimators when possible. You will be responsible for neatly and completely filling out customer and insurance information on vehicle check in sheets. You will arrange rental cars for customers, collect funds from customers and tow companies. You will also make follow up calls for walk in estimates and any additional duties as may be assigned.

Detailer

Description

As a Detailer you will be responsible for vacuuming and cleaning interior of each vehicle, visually inspect every vehicle for flaws in the repaired area(s), performs complete detail after vehicle repairs have been completed, organize and maintain the inventory of detail department supplies, and perform other related duties as assigned to ensure an efficient and effective repair.

General Manager

Description

As a Collision Shop General Manager you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Federal, State, local regulation requirements and the reputation, efficiency, and probability of shop operations. You will also be responsible for supporting Human Resource compliance within the facility. Oversee daily operation of the business, including workflow through the body and paint departments. Responsible for controlling costs, building a loyal clientele, maintaining good employee relations, setting and obtaining objectives, and keeping records. May have parts, production, and/or other managers to assist with duties. Mirrors standards and enforces policies set by the owner and is accountable for results.

Mechanic

Description

As a mechanic you will diagnose and repair collision-related mechanical damage including steering, suspension, air conditioning, engine, brake, and electrical systems. Use measuring alignment to manufacturer specifications. Use hand tools and power tools to remove or repair damaged parts and properly install new parts. Damaged vehicles must be repaired completely and correctly so they will perform and handle safely as designed. As a mechanic you will read work order, thoroughly tear down and/or inspect vehicle to prepare estimate, review estimates with estimator and complete repairs to manufacturer, industry and company standards and any additional duties as may be assigned.

Office Manager

Description

As an Office Manager you will be responsible for a broad scope of accounting, clerical and management duties. You will be responsible in assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, supporting human resource functions and compliance paperwork. You will be responsible for overseeing appointments for estimates and repairs and follow-up based on information from Insurance Partners. May include supervision of receptionists and clerks. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Refinishing Technician ( Painter )

Description

As a refinishing technician you will be responsible for the final touch in restoring vehicles to manufacturer, industry and Pacific Elite standards. You will also be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for painter's helper
  • Review estimates with estimators
  • Read work orders
  • Make sure all parts that need to be painted are with the car
  • Check body for work quality
  • Check panels for additional damage
  • Fill out supplement request form for estimator when needed
  • Give supplement request forms to production
  • Cover vehicles for over spray
  • Cover vehicles for wet sanding and polishing
  • Color matching
  • Check finish for quality
  • Responsible for vehicle cleanliness

Refinishing Technician Helper ( Painter Helper )

Description

As a refinishing technician helper your responsibility will be to assist the refinishing tech. Additional duties also include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with checking vehicle body work for quality workmanship
  • Check repair panels for additional damage
  • Read Repair Order
  • Cover vehicle for wet sanding
  • Make sure all vehicle openings are masked
  • Get vehicle paint codes from jamb or under hood only (do not go into customers’ glove box or trunk)
  • Keep work areas clean at all times
  • Assisting head painter as directed
  • Additional duties as may be assigned

Parts Manager

Description

As the Parts manager/specialist you will be responsible for ordering parts following complete shop procedures, communicate with vendors on parts and service ETA’s. Once delivered you will check and verify parts received, check LKQ parts for damage and negotiate with tech and recycling yard on repair times to panels. Scan all invoices and necessary documents into complete shop the day the order arrives. You will also be responsible for returning parts and collect credits from vendor within 5 working day. Responsible for all vehicle sublet items (wheels, glass, bumpers, etc.). You will review necessary supplement parts with tech., communicate with estimator any vehicle parts or sublet needs, communicate with body technicians and mechanics on any parts needs. You will be responsible in assisting with accurate repair order documentation. Also responsible for parts office and parts shelves to be clean and organized at all times, ordering body shop supplies (sand papers, fillers, sealers, etc.) and distribution of body shop materials to technicians. Responsible for clip lizard system. Responsible for keeping stock of fluids and making sure they are charged out on repair order accordingly. Also responsible for vendor discounts and for appointing vendor shop. You will also attend daily production meetings. Any additional duties as may be assigned.

Lot Porter

Description

As a lot porter you will pick-up or drive customers to their desired destination after vehicle drop off, pick up and drop off employees to pick up or drop off vehicles (alignment shop, muffler shop, BMW dealer, etc.). You will pick up and drop off parts . You will be responsible for cleaning shop van on daily basis and monitoring for maintenance needs (brakes, oil change, wiper blades, tires, etc.). You will maintain all lot parking aisle's are clear for moving vehicles and any additional duties as may be assigned.

Production Manager

Description

Responsible for assigning repair work to technicians and supervising workflow to complete vehicle repairs within target dates. Works closely with shop manager and technicians to promote good communication and efficiency. Communicates with customer for repair updates and notices of any delays/ document repairs and communications. Responsible for all technicians and their helpers.
